Account Information. When you create a membership account, we collect your email address, full name, date of birth (for age verification), and a member name of your choice.
Profile Information. We collect the photos, biographical details, Five Marks (prompt answers), lifestyle anchors, and preferences you choose to add to your dating profile. This is always opt-in.
Payment Information. Subscription payments and boutique purchases are processed by Apple, Google, or Stripe. We do not store full credit card numbers. We retain payment history and the last four digits of your card for order fulfillment and subscription management.
Usage Information. We collect interaction data: which profiles you view, your Salon decisions (Pass/Hold/Reach), messages sent and received, boutique browsing, and event RSVPs. This data is used to curate your experience and improve the service.
Device & Technical Data. We collect IP address, browser type, device identifiers, and operating system for analytics, security, and fraud prevention.
With Other Members. The profile information you choose to make visible is shared with other members through the Salon and messaging features. Your date of birth, email address, and payment information are never visible to other members.
With Service Providers. We share necessary data with Clerk (authentication), Neon (database hosting), Vercel (hosting), Stripe (payment processing), and Apple/Google (in-app purchases). Each provider is contractually bound to use your data only for the services they provide.
Legal Requirements. We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of the House, our members, or the public.
We never sell your personal information to third parties.
We retain your account information for as long as your membership is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain certain records (such as payment transaction history, which we retain for 7 years for tax purposes). Messages you sent to other members may remain visible to the recipient after account deletion.
